The paintball mask, or goggle, is the most important piece of paintball gear you will purchase. Unlike other paintball playing gear, the paintball mask is 100% mandatory no matter where you play. It is important to pick the right mask to match your needs.
Paintball masks can range in size, weight, shape, protection, comfort, color, and, of course, price. No matter the budget there is a good quality mask out there for you. Typically more affordable masks have slightly less comfortable foam, a single layer, fog resistant, lens that may begin to fog over a period of time, and a very rigid frame. To eliminate the fogging issue you may want to consider a mask that has a thermal, or dual layer, lens.
